Dear Parents:
Come and
participate in our fundraiser for technology!
Get involved in your children's development by participating in the
fundraiser that will help us to provide a brighter future for your child with
the use of new technology in our classrooms.
Studies show that properly used, technology
will help students acquire the skills they need to survive in a complex, highly
technological knowledge-based economy (Edutopia, 2008). Our students will benefit from the
implementation of technology through projects
and hands-on activities. Students will acquire
and refine their analysis and problem-solving skills as they work individually
and in teams. Technology helps make
teaching and learning more meaningful and fun.
The fundraising will help
us to obtain a smartboard and ipads for the classroom. With the smart board and Ipads in our classrooms we will be able to explore different hands-on
activiites such a digital storytelling, brainstorming, vocabulary, math, and
science which will capture the child’s attention and will create a more
meaningful and fun learning experience.

Parents you are more than welcome on participating in our fundraising events that will take place in our school, it is important that we get involved in our children’s education and take advantage of the tools available for their success in school.
